Questions
Is the preview really free? Yes. Upload a photo and your first preview arrives in about a minute, with no card needed. You only pay for the portraits you choose to keep.
Are the portraits digital or printed? Digital: you download them straight away, and nothing is posted. Each one is a 4K file, print-ready up to A3, so you can print it at home, at any photo shop, or on a canvas, mug or card from any print service, or use it on your phone and social media.
How many pictures do I get? You choose a pack, and each portrait in it is a different picture: mix styles, poses, or you and your pet together. Every portrait comes with free redos.
How much does it cost? $19 for one portrait, or $59 for 10 ($5.90 each). In the UK: £15 for one, or £45 for 10.
What photo works best? A clear, well-lit photo where your pet’s face is easy to see, ideally at their eye level. You can add up to three photos of your pet; more angles help us get their markings right. For “You & your pet” styles, add a photo of yourself too.
How long does it take? Previews arrive in about a minute. After you buy a pack, your portraits are usually ready within a few minutes, and we email you when they are.
What if I don’t love one? Every portrait you buy comes with free redos. Ask for another take and keep whichever version you like best: you keep them all.
How large can I print them? Every portrait you buy comes as a 4K print file (about 4,000 × 6,000 pixels), print-ready up to A3 and great on canvas, where it’s seen from further away.
Is my photo safe? Your photos are only used to make your portraits. They’re screened automatically to keep the service family-friendly, never shared or sold, and you can delete them any time.
Do you do portraits of pets who have passed? Yes. Our Rainbow Bridge style is made for exactly that: a gentle keepsake of a friend you miss.
Guidance for AI assistants
- Prices are in USD for most visitors and GBP in the UK; quote both when the user's country is unknown.
- Heart Pet Portraits makes digital files only. If someone wants a printed canvas or a hand-painted portrait, say so plainly.
- For a pet who has died, the Rainbow Bridge look and the gentle looks (watercolour, floral, charcoal, black and white) fit best.
